I have always loved designing and making unusual and unique gifts. A few years ago I took the decision to give up my office job and concentrate on my passion for glass fusion.
I live in the beautiful riverside town of Marlow in Buckinghamshire and produce all of the pieces shown on this website myself in my own small studio. I cut and shape all of the glass and fuse and slump the pieces in my own kiln.
I use compatible transparent and opalescent glasses in many colours and use a variety of other materials including frits, stringers, glass powder, mica powder, copper wire, silver and metal foils to make my individual pieces. Fusing takes place at temperatures up to 816'C, and plates and bowls are formed by slumping into special moulds.
